We often see what electricity does, but seldom see electricity itself. Here’s your chance to see real plasma, blasting two foot long sparks into the air and fire. Watch as the conservative electrical contractor, owner of Dyer Electric, morphs into his evil twin, Jack Sparx, and rips the air with arcs from his Tesla coil.

The tesla coil will be in operation during Saturday evening's events!

John Dyer has been an electrical contractor, audio engineer, chief engineer for several radio stations, and technology consultant. In most of these jobs, he got paid to make sure there were no sparks or fires. It seems only right that he wants to play with sparks, and that is exactly what he is doing now! John Dyer has built and shown Tesla coils around Sacramento and at Burning Man for the last few years. The first word he said was not “mom” or “dad” but plug! A master of the electron, he morphs into his evil twin, Jack Sparx, and shows off sparks and fire for thrills and education.
