Xport Botball Controller Workshop (Section 1)

Type: Workshop
Program Area: Robotics

Day/Time: Saturday, April 22 3:00 PM (90 minutes)

Location: Workshop Pavilion

The Xport Botball Controller (XBC) is the brains of the Botball robot. In this workshop, you will learn the capabilities of the XBC and see it action. You will work in groups to use the XBC's vision system (actually use the Vision Menu to select and view: Live Video, Processed Video, Blob Tracking, Vision Options, and Color Models.) Then you will attach the XBC to a small pre-built robot, attach sensors and motors, and then use programs already uploaded to the XBC to learn how these things come together in a robot and perform various tasks.
The XBC features 4 motor ports, 4 servo ports, 8 analog ports, 8 digital ports.
Limited to 10-20 participants.

Every GROUP will get an XBC and a small pre-built robot to work with during the class, but not to take home.

This workshop is also being held Sunday at 1:30 PM.
