Have you ever wanted to learn more about how to integrate micro controllers into your project? Do you want to avoid putting a $30 Arduino into your project that you'll just have to rip out later? Do you have some basic programming skills? Come learn about AVR Micro Controllers at Philadelphia's hackerspace, Hive76 (http://www.hive76.org/)! Fubarlabs (http://www.fubarlabs.com/) hackerspace member Keith Chester (http://roboticmusings.blogspot.com/) Will be teaching the course at Hive76. Students will receive an Atmega168 (the micro controller behind the famous Arduino platform), a breadboard, power supply components, and a number of peripheral sensors to take home with them. The course will cover the basics of AVR micro controllers, including: -Setting up your development environment -Digital input and outputs -Interrupts -Analog to Digital Input and, time permitting, -Timers -Serial communication Do you want to bring your own hardware?
