The walkotron is a simple project that you can make to create your own musical instrument. Gather your walkmans, some switches, wire and a speaker and you’ve got a basic melloman made out of walkmans. Really cool project (Mellotrons rock). This got me thinking about another really neat thing you might want to try making. The Roland Space Echo was a huge echo effect back in the day and used tape to create an analog delay. Creating something like that with walkmen would be awesome as well!
