YarisWorks wrap up
Last night was one of the YarisWorks events happening around SF where Phil and I checked out the "DIY accessories" workshop at Bar of Contemporary Art in San Francisco. There was soap making (where you can put fun little animals in molds), glass etching and a sewing station run by Stitch Lounge. With tons of fabric and notions to choose from, most people were sewing fabric cuffs made from old ties. One woman was ambitious and was making herself a tote bag. All this with a full bar and DJ spinning tunes made it an overall fun after work event. Phil took a quick video so you can get a feel for the space. You can also see all the photos taken by Phil and myself on our flickr. Link and Link.
