    Google yourself a video the the Honda ad from a couple years ago. Looking for a file called cog.mpg should do it…

    Apparently this was all done in one take, after about two weeks of attempts.

    The video in the link is from Pythagoras Switch (the “Pitagora suicchi” they keep singing) which is an educational program for kids shown on japan’s NHK network, and apparently where David Duchovny seems to have ended up (ok, that probably doesn’t make any sense unless you saw the other video that had an Algorithm Taisou segment in the middle :D )

    These would have been originally shown as separate segments in individual episodes.

    I’m skeptical about the one-take claim for Honda’s Cog; especially since the rolling muffler in the middle of the contraption is CG. Oh, and if they had two weeks of attempts it’s hardly one take :)
