Um, you could lose the snark any time and no one would miss it. Here's a little background you might have missed while you were in the lab doing R&D on your nym.

I did the original C-Clamp food chain picture: it happened by accident while shootng illustrative photographs for a book. The foodchain meme didn't occur to me until about 3 days later when I offloaded the images and actually looked closely at them, at which time I (a)pissed myself laughing st the giraffelike surreality if it and (b) posted the shot on my blog. Nick's a fine fella (who has way more tools than me) so when the picture showed up here he picked up the idea and gave it legs.

It's tool Pr0n, bunkie.

Lighten up.
