Moon Sand - Sandcastles that last forever...

Arts4 Castle A Make reader writes in about "Moon Sand" - "A Canadian company is coming out with an ultimate play-doh esque product called Moon Sand. It looks and feels like sand yet it can be to molded into any shape, like dough. Once you create a sculpture just bake the sand and it will keep its shape forever. When you feel inspired to do another masterpiece, warm it up again and crumble it back to sand. The sand never hardens and never dries out. If all these claims are true, Moon Sand is going to have a large fan base, young and old. Spin Master, $5-$20, available in fall." - Link.

Delta Sand in Sweden, Europe has been selling a remarkably similar thing for years! www.deltasand.com I have bought nearly half a tonne in the last couple of years.

From what I've heard, it's sand coated with wax, more or less. Sounds cool, but not sure I'm ready for mess my three-year-old would make.
