Binaural-Beats-1
This seems fun to play around with, even if it doesn’t do anything…Jim writes – “The theory behind binaural beats is that if you apply slightly different frequency sine waves to each ear, a beating affect is created in the brain itself, due to the brain’s internal wiring. If, in the presence of these tones, you relax and let your mind go, your mind will naturally synchronize with the beat frequency…SBAGEN is my utility, released as freeware (under the GNU General Public Licence) for Linux, Windows, DOS and Mac OS X, that generates binaural tones in real-time according to a 24-hour programmed sequence read from a file. It can also be used to play a sequence on demand, rather than according to the clock, or to write a WAV file for playing later. “ [via] – Link.

I host a number of free MP3 files featuring binaural beats on my web site: http://www.jetcityorange.com/meditation/binaural-beats.html

  2. Isaac Marcum says:

There is a new project called Psyche Sonics. That uses binaural beats
and isochronics for research in human potential, meditation, and
    brainwave entrainment, and more.

They have been studying human potential of the mind. There is a
philanthropy website called Ideablob that pays a $10,000 grant for the
idea with the most support. They are using this resource to put
funding towards research on altered states of consciousness with
sound, psionics, deprivation tanks, and other cutting edge technology.

    The web site is

We are hoping to get the word out and help generate more knowledge on
Binaural beats and these other alternative research. With your help we
can start up some new exciting research.

    Thank you for your time,
    Isaac Marcum
