Cross-Stitch of Sistine Chapel

Sistinechapel

This immense 40″ X 80″ cross-stitch recreation of the Sistine Chapel took 10 years for Joanna Lopianowski-Roberts to create. Joanna used 1,809 different color combinations with a total of about 628,296 stitches! Wow! She documents the entire process in her self-published book (on lulu.com) with 45 full color individual patterns for each scene. [ via ] Link. (Note: Photo is 1MB)
