HOW TO - Build the Ultimate Gaming Table

Room05Sm Marc writes "This is a well detailed plan of building "the ultimate gaming table" for role-playing and board games. I appreciate the details like cup holders and dry erase boards as well as the layout of the room itself." Link.

  • I would actually argue that this is the ultimate gaming table:

Channels for passing message spheres, speakers, individual lights for the players, dice rolling areas, and a computer console for the DM.

I seem to recall there also used to be an overhead LCD projector for projecting maps on the table, but that seems to be gone. :(

  • wow this table is amazing (talking about the original post). now those kids know how to play, would have loved to sit at that table back in the d&d days - wonder if they ever consider video taping their adventures and putting them up on a vidcast. (if you all are reading this, please do!)

  • I call bull$#!t on this. There are several photos which show what appears to be an actual girl in this room. No f**king way. It's a Photoshop job.
