Excellent! Welcome to 1.50, PSP firmware 2.0 users! MPH has created a WORKING downgrader from PSP firmware 2.0 to firmware 1.50. This takes advantage of the toc2rta exploit and allows for the full downgrade of firmware 2.0 to firmware 1.50. I have tried this myself and have successfully downgraded from firmware 2.0 to firmware 1.50. Although this has been tried and found working, this does not mean there is no risk involved so use at your own risk. Link.

woooooo hoooooo just installed it, i was waiting all weekend for this!!
This is very cool – but is anyone else scared silly about totally b0rking their PSP? I’m not in a position to get another Japanese one, should this fail, but I’m soooo eager to try homebrew out.
What’s the success/fail rate – I haven’t seen that anyone has had problems doing this so far. Perhaps I’ll wait it out a couple of days…
Worked wonderful for me. I’ve already tried a couple homebrew apps after downgrading from 2.0. I’ve also heard that if you want, you can reupgrade to 2.0 if you feel like it later on. Looks like it’s a flawless downgrade to 1.50
