Correction for page 67
There is one missing word in the sidebar at the bottom of the page, "Adding a Webcam." The missing word is "script."

The complete sentence should be

Change the interval by editing the file etc/cron.d/getcam and add cameras by duplicating the script."

Dodge Ram 1500 Hotspot

While not quite as compact as the Stompbox projects, I've "converted" a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 into a roaming hotspot using a Rogers Portable Internet service (WiMax based) and some old 802.11b gear. Great range, great speed, and most of it fits neatly in the center console ;-)

Powered by a 5.7L Hemi V8 it's not the most fuel-efficient hotspot going...

Where are the GPS Srcipts?

I have the Magazine in my hand I it says to come here for the PHP scripts for Vehicle tracking. I do not see them.

I talked to the author and learned that the scripts changed drastically due to the Gmap APIs being released. He hopes to have them to us soon, and we'll post them here.
